Rooms in Bloom was established to help meet the home staging needs in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Our primary services include home consultations during which we offer advice on de-cluttering, neutralizing decor, furniture placement, home organization and more. Our home staging services provide the finishing touch as we define rooms, create focal areas and use beautiful accessories to complete the designs.

Once we have completed an in depth consultation with clients, we offer to help with as much of the home staging process as is required.  In addition, we also offer to be a liason with contractors, painters and furniture rental companies as is needed by the home owner. Our goals are always to help clients create a warm, inviting house which buyers will be drawn into.

In addition, we do offer to help clients who have used our home staging services to sell their homes, create beautiful spaces in their new houses. Many times, clients who use our services fall in love with the rooms we create for them and ask us to re-create them in their new homes.

Why Staging Works
  • People believe that they can see past ugly decor, clutter and/or vacant spaces and see the "potential" in spaces. Most times they can't which is why home staging is so effective! We show buyers the potential right away and let the house "talk" to them without distractions.
  • Buyers begin their search with a long list of criteria however 99% of the time, they choose a home based on emotional reasons. We often hear "it just felt like home" as to why buyers fell in love with a house. Once buyers have connected emotionally to the house, they are willing to look past some of the criteria on their list. We create that "home" feeling so sellers have a much greater chance of attracting buyers who will be able to see themselves living in a particular house. 
  • Little things like personal momentos/photos, crowded rooms, dated decor even windows which stick are distractions which will stop a buyer from connecting emotionally to a house. We address all of these details so that nothing stands in the way of a buyer falling in love with the property and making an offer. Once that happens, it doesn't matter how many houses the buyer has seen - your house will win and get you top dollar!
